Support for my newsletter - Thanks to wired news, who just 2 days after my comment on Palm's European problem (see news for January 29th 2002) have posted a short item with the headline Europe Isn't Palm Country. Apparently research from analyst's Canalys back's my claim that Palm could be in trouble outside their home market. Losing marketshare rapidly to Pocket PC based devices from HP and Compaq on one side, and Symbian based Mobilephone's such as the Nokia Communicator, Palm's European marketshare is dropping rapidly from more than 60% to the present mid-thirties.

And marke my words, it will continue to drop, unless Palm makes a serious entry in the wireless market based on European technologies.
