Straight out of India

Straight out of India - Indian Hardware manufacturer Infomart, has arrived on the scene with another Linux Based PDA. Based on the same versions of Embedded Linux from Lineo, and the Qtopia GUI from Trolltech, it aims at being binary compatible with Sharps recent SL-5000D. That should give it access to a large suite of 3rd party applications, and may be make-or-break for a product from a new entrant in the market. With similar specs to the Sharp device, there is one major difference, the inclusion of USB control Services, allowing it to work with external USB devices. So I might even be able to interface it to my MP3 Player/6 Gb external Harddrive. Cool!
