Quiet on multiplicity
i'm in vienna.
visiting my grandparents, family, vacation.
it's hot here. almost in the accra sense of the word. sweating, hanging out, WiFi'ing via metronet wireless access points in some of the nicer café's here.
the problem with metronet, and many other european hotspot providers, of course being that for non-subscribers it's really expensive. pre-paid costs 10 euro's for an hour.
and since i'm from a connected family, we've found ourselves 3 people, 2 laptops and my new palm tungsten, all connected simultaneously.
at that price, it's hardly worth it. So i dug up some info on free networks here in vienna, but even etter. the café across the street from the apartment we're staying in has metronet access, except for ssome reason without the billing. free wireless internet with vienna iced coffée. wow.
