Nokia and Siemens to collaborate on mobile software

After recently joining the Symbian alliance (of which Nokia is another member), Siemens has now also partnered directly with Nokia and will co-develop software and applications for mobile phones. Bringing together 2 large players might actually enforce some level of standards-compliance and interoperability in the market.
