No Linux Handhelds

No Linux Handhelds - Danish magazine PC World, posted an on-line article about the next generation of wireless connected handhelds. Apart from mentioning the decline of Palm, and the fact that they still don't have a wireless PDA for the European market, the article presented Handsprings GSM (and GPRS) based Treo device, now available in Asia, but apparently coming to Europe soon.
Also on the horizon, is Siemens new PDA Loox, which is to be presented at CeBit next month.
Dissapointingly, and in my opinion, not all too cleverly, there was no mention of the 2 competing operating systems, Symbian's EPOC, and Mobile Linux. Also wireless connectivity apparently only refers to mobile standards such as GSM, GPRS and UMTS, and not to wireless networking standards like 802.11b.

So much for vision and imagination.
