merry christmas

baptized, jewish agnostic, that i am, i really shouldn't be doing anything as politically incorrect as wishing a merry christmas. i mean there are legions of people out there for whom christmas is nothing more than some guys birthday. and to make matters worse, it was over 2000 years ago AND he was a bit sanctimonious and all.

on the other hand. christmas is something i celebrate with my family. it always has been, and hopefully will be, and in that respect i really couldn't care less what everyone else thinks. so have a merry christmas if you're so inclined. or have a lousy one, since there's no accounting for personal taste. or have a nice tuesday. i mean tuesday is worth celebrating in and of it's own, isn't it?

and oh yes, you guessed it, here in denmark christmas is in the 24th. we get our presents a whole day earlier than all you anglo-saxons out there.

and the beer is better too. so there.... ha!
