The Berkman Center on-line course on Development and the Internet has started.

Some interesting material in the first round on Internet Architecture, although, as a long-time Internet professional, and someone who's had the distinct pleasure of working hands-on with IT in the developing world, there was little tio learn from it.

Also, I've had to sign up for the Low Participation discussion option, mostly because I'm 'unfortunate' enough to be going to Brazil on Sunday, and this time it's pure pleasure, so there'll be little time for following the course.

I'll do my best to follow the course, but my participation in the on-line discussions will be passive at best. Next time perhaps....
