3G phone launch - Motorola presented their first 3G UMTS based phone last week. The A820 is a tri-band GSM phone with added support for UMTS, as well as a colour screen, and a small camera built-in. It also supports BlueTooth, GPRS, WAP 2.0 and J2ME. In other words they have put just about every conceivable Mobile Technology into the form factor of a standard mobile phone.
The phone is due out in the 3rd quarter of this year.
